Frank Horlbeck is responsible for the Communication and Events for the 13 countries in Region West of EIT Food, Europe’s largest Innovation Hub in terms of Food. In a nutshell: A media person who is at home in all sectors. Starting as a print journalist, he moved on to radio and finally to the medium of television. And that with worldwide experience of more than 30 years now. Frank is a qualified journalist and has a master’s degree in political science and communications.
Frank was working for national newspapers in Germany and also for international news agencies and a very long time for tv magazines around the world. And after holding a position of responsibility at one of the largest global PR news hubs based in the UK, he is now involved as Communication expert and Press Officer in the mission to revolutionize the food system in Europe: EIT Food with its Headquarter in Brussels is on a mission from the EU to make the entire value chain of food production more transparent, sustainable and with new opportunities for consumers – and thus finally more understandable and verifiable.
