Torill Østingsen has worked for Siemens for more than 35 years in various roles within the industrial segment, starting as an automation engineer for projects within fish and animal feed production. For the past 6 years, she has been part of Siemens’ global Food & Beverage headquarters with specific responsibility for the aquaculture segment. She believes that the use of digitalization and future-oriented automation is one of the key factors in providing the world’s growing population with sufficient, healthy and sustainable food.
