Nicola is a molecular bacteriologist working on plant-microbe interactions. She runs the Food Security challenge centre at SRUC and has projects on microbiomes as well as food safety pathogens. She has a BBRSC-funded partnership project with Bob Rees (SRUC) and Marcelo Beltran (INTA) ‘Sharing expertise to quantify and mitigate GHG in the agriculture and land use sector in Argentina and the UK’.
